No question, this was the best final ever!!!! the rain came towards the end of the 3rd set for a reason, i reckon nadal would have got the 3rd set had rain not come. what roger did in the break showed his class, hes so positive and he always comes strong after rain delays, remember in 2004 when roddick was a break of serve up until rain came and he broke back

Nonsense. Nadal is only playing the shots Roger has been playing for the last 4/5 years. They are just copying his game. Nadal comes up with nothing brilliant until the other player does something then about 4 shots later Nadal does the same shot. Boring Boring Boring. Nadal is a retriever, he chases the ball down and hits the shit out of it. Thats not tennis thats just a power hitter and we have many of those coming through now. Roger did all these shots years ago,the rest are on catch up.
Federer was the one with 25 or so aces. Nadal I believe only had 7.
yea think that was about right for UK too. The rain delays held the game on for too long so the light was bad, you needed torches to see the presentations. The game should have been put off until the following day. Fair to both players.
I think they meant the standard of play is boring. Nadal hits big, Roger plays tennis. Nadal is a retriever he chases every a ball down and hits the shit out of it. Thats boring. He is not an inspirational player, he mimics other players shots. That makes it boring. Roger only lost by 2 points which makes it close. Wonder what the out come would have been if the game was held with better light. Too many aces in a game does make it boring. I prefer rallies showing talent, not just power hitters.
