Loved this song in the club scene in the beginning of American psycho!
remember seeing american psycho when i was 17 in the cinema and this song alone simply brought it alive - of course there were numerous other cool 80s artists but this was bangin with the bass

A classic tune by New Order. Many of their songs are amazing, but this one is my favorite of all.

And I also think that there are thre parts to the addiction. The two people hitting each other the anger and the guilt. The 3 acrobatic characters are the “euphoric high” part and the character in red sitting on the ledge is the detached part. When all the characters converge into the same space, chaos occurs between them and I think this convergence represents the disastrous crash once the high wears off….just my take on it.
It is about heroin addiction.
