Singapore awarded the 2010 Youth Olympics Host City
21 February 2008 - Singapore will host the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2010. The result was unveiled by IOC President Jacques Rogge at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
Key moment for the Olympic Movement
“This is a key moment for the Olympic Movement”, said Rogge to journalists present in Lausanne. “Singapore has put together a very exciting project. Hosting the Youth Olympic Games for the first time is a great responsibility, and I have every confidence in the team in Singapore. I have no doubt that their professionalism and enthusiasm will be instrumental in the staging of successful Youth Olympic Games in 2010″
singapore is uniquely country with four different colour but not as the same as moscow that has a beautiful state of the art and the place i think is more beautiful than singapore.
