They call him “The Scorpion.” Why? We’re not sure, maybe because of his November birth date. But one thing’s for sure, he’s one of the top 5 pool players in the world. He’s playing Jose Parica, who is world-class in his own right. Jose was the first in a long line of great Filipino players to invade American 9-Ball.
This is the fourth of 13 feature matches from the 29th Annual U S Open 9-Ball Championship, the pool and billiard world’s most prestigious title. Every September pool payers from around the world converge on Chesapeake, Virginia to compete for their share of the $200,000 prize fund.

The only problem I have with America professional pool tourements is that there are too many adverts for pool equipment.

jose amang parica is a solid player, unfortunately does not enjoy much popularity compare to other Filipino billiard great Efren Bata Reyes and Django Bustamante.
